Day 52

“We are Fa--mi--ly! All my sisters/brothers with me." Sly/Family Stone

Come on, I you know the song and are singing it! Acts 28:15 reminds me of just that - Family! “And the Christian brethren there, having had news of us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and received new courage.” 

Again, when Paul saw his Family, his brothers and sisters in Christ, he RECEIVED NEW COURAGE. We need each other! When life sometimes is discouraging, it’s our Family that has the ability to help us press through. I pray that we do that for each other and for those around us that do not know Christ yet.

 Heavenly Father, today may I be a vessel you use to bring new courage to my family and those around me in my life. May I have just the right words to say to spur them on toward You and to help them press through. I thank you that You have adopted me into YOUR FAMILY and have given me all the courage I need. Amen!
