Day 185

Today's Reading:  2 Ki. 15-16; Hos. 1; Heb 1

 
I love that in Hebrews 1, they take time to describe that Jesus really is the Son of God and to describe his position in Heaven. In case there is any confusion as to the difference between Jesus and the angels, this chapter describes it. AND it even gives more power to understanding who God sent to die on the cross for us. I know I can tend to forget in my journey in life, that it's not about me and what I accomplish or do, but about Christ dying for us and his kingdom! God love us so much that he sent His Son for us. Let's not forget that today as we celebrate the 4th of July and see those around us who truly need to know this!

Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Though I didnt deserve it, you did it any way. I pray that you would give me the boldness to share what you did on the cross with others. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen
