Psalms 109: 26-28 says, "Help me, O Lord my God, save me in accordance with your love.  Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O Lord, have done it.  They may curse, but you will bless; when they attack they will be put to shame, but your servant will rejoice."

Most of us can probably relate to the pain and frustration that David is expressing in this Psalms.  We have probably all at one time in our lives have been either treated unfairly, accused of wrong-doing, or personally attacked.  It is not a comfortable position to be in or an easy situation to go through.  Many times it can feel as if we are isolated, alone, and ready to break from the blows we have been dealt.  However, we have a very strong and powerful God that is standing in our corner and He is ready to fight on our behalf.  What others have planned for evil, God will turn into blessing.  We can rejoice in the fact that we have an all powerful God ready to come to the aid of his children.

Jesus, I thank you for being my savior and my protector.  I can rest in the fact that my God is a warrior, who will fight on behalf of his children.  I rejoice in the knowledge that what others may use for evil against me, you will turn to blessing.  I know that I can be at peace knowing that I am a child of the Most High God.
